Remember to SAVE The PIN
Laughter is a universal language, at least everywhere on earth. With all the languages, dialects, cultures, and social norms around the planet, everyone still laughs basically the same. Babies can laugh before they know how to speak, and even if they are born deaf and blind they still instinctively know how to laugh.
In 2005, research discovered that laughter had a positive correlation with healthy blood vessels. It caused a dilation of the inner lining of blood vessels and increased blood flow. It has been shown to decrease common stress hormones such as cortisol and epinephrine, and who couldn’t use less stress in their life. Physical pain has been reduced with laughter because of the release of endorphins. Even your immune system gets stronger when you laugh by boosting the number of antibody producing cells.
2. When does a joke become a “dad joke?” When it becomes apparent.
Some jokes have been tossed around for so long that their origins have been lost. Others are new, and some just seem new to you. No matter the origin of a joke that strikes your funny-bone, it’s always worth your time find a good joke and enjoy it. A good comedian is with their weight in gold. They have more than just jokes. They have timing, presentation, and their own flair, but they use all those skills to deliver a joke to make us laugh. Some jokes take a skilled comedian to make them funny, others stand all on their own.
Comedians put a lot of time and effort into their material in order to be successful. We will always try to give credit to the creator of joke material on this site. You never know the source of every joke, which is unfortunate. So to all those joke creators out there that don’t get the credit for their work, we tip our hat to you (it’s an imaginary hat, because I don’t wear a real one). People all over the world love to laugh, and all that humor you put out is greatly appreciated. Keep it coming, and we will continue to laugh out loud.
4.“Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes.”
—Jack Handey Some jokes are stories, and some are simple one-liners (I love me some rapid fire one-liners). There are dad jokes that make you sigh a little inside when you hear it, but we all remember them, and tell them to someone else, when dad isn’t looking. There are the seemingly simple pun jokes that entertain and teach a bit about our silly language. There are family-friendly jokes, which usually means that they are okay to tell in front of children (and grandma, I would never tell a dirty joke to my grandma…). We all have our own taste when it comes to the style of joke that we enjoy.
